Accounts/Outsourcing Assistant

Location: Norwich, NR1

My wonderful client based in a prestigious location in the centre of Norwich are expanding and looking for an Accounts/Outsourcing Assistant to join the team. You will be supporting the Outsourcing Manager by performing various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.

Ideally fully AAT qualified (upto £28,500 K) or part qualified (study package available salary £25,000 K)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with general bookkeeping for your assigned clients, liaising with them to build the relationship and have a detailed understanding of their business
  • Drafting quarterly and monthly VAT returns for both bookkeeping clients and for those clients who do their own bookkeeping
  • Preparation of Management Accounts in line with clients’ VAT periods. This will consist of a review of the Profit & Loss together with producing accurate Balance Sheet reports
  • Producing cashflows for specific clients and attending regular client meetings
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting software/system.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues and improve processes.

Is this YOU?:-

AAT Level 4 qualified with a minimum of 2 years’ experience

Excellent organisational skills

Excellent communication skills
