Accounts Assistant - 12 month FTC - London - £28,000-£35,000

An exciting opportunity to be able to join a creative interior design company based in Central London. This is an organisation that have worked on a range of projects for a variety of exclusive clients. 

This ever-growing finance team is looking for an An Accounts Assistant to join their ranks and take responsibility for a range of duties and tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing complex monthly invoices – verifying, recording and processing transactions accurately
  • Project Reconciliations ensuring accuracy and identifying any discrepancies
  • Accounts Payable tasks - Raising POs
  • Maintaining organised financial records
  • Pushing Payment runs
  • Project Administration
  • Supporting the department with other Administrative tasks when required
This is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience in various aspects of financial management whilst also being part of a supportive team within a creative space. This role would be able to provide you with well-rounded exposure to financial operations

Essentials:
  • Immediately Available or 1 week notice period 
  • Either part qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or AAT – preferably with a degree in mathematics or economics
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Interested in pursuing a career in finance and accounting 
  • Well organised and methodical
  • Eye for detail
  • Willing to learn attitude
  • Ability to work well to deadline and manage your own time
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
