FRS are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for a rapidly growing business based just outside of Bedford. Ideally you will be AAT Qualified or QBE. You'll be working as part of a 4-5 person finance team & covering all aspects of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Reconciliations, Credit Control & supporting month end.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the duties noted below but also supporting the month end processes alongside the Finance Manager. Suitable candidates will be confident with IT & know their way around MS Excel & Xero but this isn't essential!

Duties Will Include:
Assisting with managing the Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger - processing invoices, updating information, raising invoices, resolving queries
Inputting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy
Processing BACS payments, purchase orders and invoice authorisation
Dealing with enquiries relating to purchases and suppliers
Producing adhoc reports for the Finance Manager
Assisting with processing VAT returns
Supporting the month end processes
