Accounts Assistant

Robert Half is recruiting for a creative business based in Solihull.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has at least 2 years core finance experience at a transitional level who is looking to have a combined transactional/management accounts role

Duties will include but not be limited too:

Management Accounts

• Prepare & input nominal journals (depreciation,prepayments, accruals)
• Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts
• Investigate and report on variances to previous months/budget

Payroll

• Process monthly payroll
• Submit payments to HMRC
• Submit pension payments

Sales Ledger

• Ensure Sales invoices are raised correctly based on information generated from the Rapport3 system
• Submit invoices to correct contact person including supporting documentation where appropriate

Purchase Ledger

• Ensure all invoices are correctly authorised
• Input invoices accurately
• Process expenses claims & credit card statements
• Prepare payment runs
• Resolve purchase ledger queries

Profile:

• Finance professional with over 2 years experience
• Good understanding on debts and credits
• Flexible work approach
• Strong excel and systems knowledge
• Willingness to get stuck in
