Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Garretts Green

Part time 
20 hours a week
£11,897-£15,000

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-orientated and organized Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting tasks.

Duties:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Perform data entry to update and maintain financial records
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Utilize accounting software Xero.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support various financial projects
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
- Handle inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters

Experience:
- Proven experience working in an accounting or finance role
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Stirling but not essential as training will be given
- Strong understanding of financial services and principles
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work well on their own and part of a team.

  Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
