KCR Solutions are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant for our client based in Sunderland. The company are currently working on hybrid office/home arrangements. You will report to the Finance Manager in a team of 2.

Key responsibilities:-

  • Sales invoicing
  • Credit control and cash allocation
  • Purchase ledger
  • Preparation of Key Performance Indicators analysis (financial and other)
  • Assist in month end account preparation
  • Assistance in the preparation of information for the company auditors
  • Journal preparation
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Collation of timely and accurate job margin data, actual against estimate for periodic review.
  • Preparation of data and reports ensuring that all obligations to HMRC and other authorities are me
  • General administrative duties
  • Ad hoc exercises as required

The Person

  • IT Literate
  • Previous accounting experience in a Finance Department
  • Accuracy of work
  • Great interpersonal and communications skills
  • The ability to work to monthly/weekly deadlines
