Accounts Assistant| Nottingham|12 months contract

Are you an immediately available Accounts Assistant? Cherry Professional is recruiting on behalf of our client, an ever-expanding global company with offices based in Nottingham, for an Accounts Assistant. This is a maternity contract position, working within the finance department and reporting to the Finance Manager. The ideal candidate must have strong Excel skills and a minimum of 3 years of experience working in the full finance function. You will be joining a small, friendly, and supportive team.
The duties
  • Processing the sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Processing supplier invoices.
  • Statement
  • Balance sheet
  • Supplier payments.
  • Process of expenses.
  • Credit control.
  • Aging
  • Weekly reports on stock.
  • Respond to any queries relating to the finance dept.


About you

  • AAT level 4.
  • Experience of working within a full finance function.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to solve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of using MS packages, in particular Excel and other finance systems.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
