Location: Cardiff

Position: Permanent, full time

Autograph Recruitment are working with a firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors o perating across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics who are looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant.

Job responsibilities

• Work to produce an annual statutory accounts and record keeping for a new number of clients
• Provide support to your clients from an accounting practice
• Communicate with HMRC
• May include VAT/payroll preparation
• Aware of expected utilisation % budgets and work towards delivering this
• Having some responsibilities for a basic portfolio

Job requirements

• Actively studying towards either ACA/ACCA/CA
• Perform basic compliance tasks to a high standard
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Be driven to succeed, take initiative and want results
• Work within your own chargeable time budget
