Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to work for a growing, well established SME business based in the Redhill, Surrey area. The Accounts Assistant will experience working in a similar Finance Assistant - Bookkeeping type role. The Accounts Assistant will support with everyday transactional accounting, processing invoices, month end, accounts payable, credit control etc.

Hours: 8-5 / 8-4.30 Mon - Fri

Salary: up to £35K dependent on experience

Location: Office based, Redhill. Parking onsite

Accounts Assistant duties:

  • Managing the accounts payable and accounts receivables ledger and process
  • Monitor and review the P&L
  • Payment runs
  • Credit control, reviewing the debtor reports
  • Raising and sending out invoices
  • Month end / year end process
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier statements
  • VAT returns
  • Producing financial reports for management

Skills and experience:

  • Proven experience working in a Finance, Accounts Assistant, accounting - bookkeeping type role
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Good IT skills using systems such as; Excel and accounting software Sage
