Exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a well established business based in Altrincham. This role will offer a salary up to £27,000 depending on experience.

Client Details

Page Personnel are working with an industry leading retail business, going through a period of growth. They are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the team at an exciting time for the company.

Description

Accounts Assistant responsibilities include:

  • Completing daily and monthly reconciliation of all bank receipts and payments
  • Reconciliation and balancing of monthly intersystem payments across accounting systems
  • Assistance to branches to help them identify till mistakes
  • Reconciliation of branch takings to cash/cheque/card payments received
  • Reconciliation of shop takings to retail ledger
  • Preparing and posting journals into accounting systems
  • Other similar duties within the department as required

Profile

The candidate will have:

  • Some experience working within a Finance role - Required
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Required
  • High attention to detail - Required
  • Ability to work towards deadlines - Required
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills - Required

Job Offer
