If so then my client has a great opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to join their growing team in East Sussex.

As Accounts Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, supporting a Senior Accountant in the preparation of accounts and tax computations.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Prepare accounts in accordance with FRS 102(1A) for a mixed portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
  • Assisting with corporation tax returns
  • Personal Tax returns
  • VAT returns
  • Prepare management accounts
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A minimum of 1 years' experience in practice
  • Studying towards a recognized accounting qualification – AAT or ATT
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A desire to learn and an interest in Tax would be beneficial
