Accounts Assistant

This is an all-round accounts position, suited to someone eager to develop skills in both accounts payable and receivable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with payroll processing and related documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
- Respond to internal and external financial inquiries.
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
