Finance Assistant

  • Salary: £22,500 - £25,000
  • Location: Cheltenham
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Finance Assistant to join our client’s dynamic team within a thriving industry. As a key member of their finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate processing of financial transactions. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage and process inventory and overhead invoices, along with expense claims and payments.
  • Create and distribute sales invoices to clients and monitor outstanding debts for prompt payment.
  • Log daily customer payments and coordinate with the sales administration team.
  • Conduct reconciliations of bank accounts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in a financial position is required.
  • The ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks is essential.
  • Proven numerical abilities and a track record of consistently delivering top-notch results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must; familiarity with Sage 50 would be a significant advantage.
