Accounts Assistant

Location: Bolton

Salary: £24,000 to £26,000 DOE

Consultants: Sarah Hughes or Karen Reynolds

Our client a leading manufacturer with 30 years of trading experience, is looking for a Part Qualified AAT Accounts Assistant to join their ever-growing business.

Working hours are Full time, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities as Accounts Assistant:

  • Post Sales/Purchase Invoices
  • Allocate payments and credit notes
  • Perform Daily bank Reconciliations to Sage Line 50
  • Post Bank payments and receipts
  • Accept and post credit card payments
  • Prepare and reconcile quarterly VAT returns
  • Prepare Monthly accruals and repayments
  • Reconcile key balance sheets, nominal accounts monthly payee/VAT accounts

What you need to bring:

  • A good working knowledge of Sage Line 50
  • Ability to process weekly payrolls (desirable)
  • Excel knowledge and experience
