Our Burnley based exclusive client, is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy team. This growing company requires an experienced person to support the FD with the day to day accounting.

Duties include:

  • Full responsibility for the purchase ledger including processing invoices, reconciling statements and preparing payment runs
  • Maintaining accurate sales ledger records including processing invoices and credit notes, allocating payments and reconciling accounts
  • Credit control duties including chasing overdue payments to ensure payment terms are met
  • Actively pursue the collection of outstanding debts via phone, email and letter
  • Calculation, Submission and Reconciliation of CIS payments
  • Assisting with any other accounting duties that may be needed
  • Working on Sage daily therefore someone who has previously used Sage is essential

This company have a really friendly approach to work and therefore you must be a good team player. You must have an excellent attention to detail, high levels of accuracy and be able to prioritise your own workload.

It is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week but there is a flexible start and finish time and an early finish on a Friday.
