An established organisation located in Thetford which has experienced an exciting period of growth and is looking for a proactive individual to join them in the job role of Accounts Assistant.


Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working as part of a supportive and team-focused finance department, this role will run the purchase ledger function, alongside supporting in other areas in the accounts team.
- Processing, coding and matching invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Supplier payment runs
- Supplier query investigation and resolution
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with cashbook maintenance
- Supporting with month-end processes including journals and reconciliations

What you'll need to succeed
You will have strong purchase ledger experience combined with wider knowledge of the accounts function, including bank reconciliations. Confident systems and IT skills with a proactive approach to learning new systems and processes will be key.
