Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 per annum

Are you an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant looking to further your career in a flexible and supportive environment? Our client, a reputable company based in Oldham, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Processing invoices and expense claims
  • Conducting bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and databases
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Supporting the finance team with various administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of accounting software is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
