Accounts Assistant

Robert Half are excited to be working with an exciting, well established organisation to recruit a driven administrator with Credit Control experience for a role, based in Cardiff.

They are offering a base salary up to £28,000

My client is looking for a highly organised, hardworking Finance Assistant to support our growing business.

Responsibilities:

* Progress despatched orders to invoice and send to customer

* Ensure invoice details are correct (price, quantity, invoice address/email)

* Document capture all relevant transactions

* Work with dispatch team and customers for out of stock items and ensure all 'back orders' are processed

* Input and reconcile EPOS transactions

* Manage company EDI process including sales orders, shipping notifications, invoices

* Implement changes to customer terms

* Various KPI reporting

* Work with all areas of the business to ensure customer queries are dealt with effectively

* Assist with ERP system upkeep

* Various projects as required by finance managers

Key Skills:

* Minimum 3 years experience of working within a Finance Department

* Previous experience working in similar role

* AAT qualified or qualified by experience

* Attention to detail

* Highly organised

* Good communication skills both written and verbal

* Good telephone manner

* Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines

* Knowledge of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) desirable

* Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel) and Finance (ERP) systems
