Hays are recruiting an experienced Accounts Payables & Receivables Controller for a fast-paced and successful business in Telford.

Your new role
You will be working within the Finance team and your duties will include:

  • Purchase Ledger:
  • Processing invoices, reconciling statements, resolving supplier queries and payment runs
  • Sales Ledger:
  • Post and allocate cash, monitor credit limits, produce manual invoices, resolving queries
  • Other Accounting duties:
  • Collating and inputting hours for payroll, and resolving problems
  • Petty cash
  • Reporting and reconciliation


What you'll need to succeed
You should be very experienced in purchase and sales ledger and keen to learn new skills. You should have excellent attention to detail & accuracy as well as being focused and organised.

What you'll get in return
The business works 36.5 hours per week, with an early finish on a Friday, 25 days' holiday + Bank holidays, a good pension and various other benefits
