Accounts Assistant
We are working with a busy construction company who are based in South Leeds and are seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to support through a period of sickness; an ongoing temporary role, the successful candidate must be available immediately and be able to commit to this temporary role that will be reviewed on a weekly basis. Working 9-5.30 Monday-Friday on site, the successful candidate will provide full accounts support to a busy office. Day to day tasks will include;
- Purchase Ledger
- Payment runs
- Processing purchase invoices
- Reconcile purchase ledger statements
- Sales Ledger
- Credit control
- Raising customer invoices
- VAT Return
- Weekly and Monthly Payroll
- HMRC Returns (CIS)
The successful candidate will be AAT part qualified or have relevant practical work experience, ideally having worked and supported within the construction industry and have knowledge of CIS would be ideal. A working knowledge of Sage 50 and Xero is also required.
