What you'll do:

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring financial accuracy within the organisation. Your responsibilities will include efficient data input from supplier purchase invoices, producing and enhancing payment runs, and addressing purchase queries. Your keen eye for detail will be instrumental in identifying cost-saving opportunities. You'll also assist with the reconciliation of the debtors ledger and conduct thorough reviews of credit card statements and employee expense requests. Performing bank reconciliations and providing dependable support to the wider finance team will also be part of your remit.

  • Efficiently inputting data from supplier purchase invoices
  • Producing and enhancing payment runs
  • Addressing purchase queries and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Assisting with the reconciliation of the debtor's ledger

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Accounts Assistant position brings proficient computer skills to the table, especially in Microsoft Excel. You're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills that make you an integral part of any team. Your high levels of data accuracy and meticulous attention to detail set you apart from others. You approach tasks with a positive 'can do' attitude and are always eager to learn something new. Studying towards AAT would be advantageous but not essential.
