Accounts Assistant - Growing Financial Services Business

Based: South West London (hybrid)

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 (dependent on experience) plus excellent benefits

6 month maternity cover contract

A leading financial services business in South West London is now looking to hire an Accounts Assistant for their high profile team on a 6 month maternity cover contract. Reporting into the Financial Controller the duties of the Accounts Assistant will include:

  • Provide finance and administrative services to the group
  • Process group payments
  • Credit control
  • Reconciliations
  • Ad hoc duties / project work as requested by the Financial Controller

We are looking for a graduate or part qualified ACCA or CIMA with proven 2-4 years experience in a similar role who is looking to develop their career within a dynamic, fun organisation

Requirements for Accounts Assistant

  • 2-4 years experience in a similar finance role
  • Ability to hit the ground running
  • Strong Excel skills ideally with knowledge of SAGE 50
  • Financial services / insurance experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident manner
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Flexible, professional and team approach
  • Willingness to work in a 6 month contract capacity
  • Full UK driving licence required as there will be travel to other offices in Surrey.
