Accounts Assistant 
Up to £27,000 + Hybrid Working 
Sheffield, South Yorkshire 

Elevation Recruitment Accountancy & Finance are searching for an Accounts Assistant to join a well established SME business based in Sheffield. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices efficiently and accurately
  • Address and resolve both internal and external inquiries
  • Perform supplier account reconciliations
  • Provide support with sales ledger tasks
  • Assist with payroll functions
  • Offer assistance to the AP/AR Manager and the broader finance team as needed

Skills & Experience Required: 

We are looking for candidates with the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • Prior experience in a purchase ledger role 
  • Proficient in invoice processing
  • Familiar with GRN/GRNI reconciliation procedures
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Ability to prioritise and handle heavy workloads effectively
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capability to identify and suggest process improvements
