Hays are working with a fast paced and established business in Shrewsbury who are looking for an experienced and dynamic Accounts Assistant to join their team

Your new role
You will be taking full responsibility all Account Administration duties and be required to understand current processes:
Duties will include:

  • Bank Processing (Receipts and Payments)
  • Credit Card transaction reconciliations and posting
  • Sales Order Processing
  • Hire Invoice Processing
  • Management of the accounts inbox - dealing with queries effectively
  • New Customer Accounts - credit checks and opening of accounts
  • Assisting with Month End tasks
  • To support the Finance Team


What you'll need to succeed

  • Accounts administration experience
  • Good Excel skills
  • .Ability to trouble shoot effectively.
  • A Confident communicator.
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
