Accounts Assistant

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join dynamic and growing client of ours based in Basingstoke. This is a full time, permanent position and our client is looking for a passionate individual with payroll experience.

Responsibilities as an Accounts Assistant:
- Handle bookkeeping duties - including recording, updating and reconciling financial data
- Assist with accounts payable, receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll for up to 100 employees
- Manage payroll records, new starters, leavers, absences and salary changes
- Support with month end and year end reports
- Process payments and ensure all is recorded correctly
- Monitor and respond to all accounts related emails

Requirments:
- At least 2 years experience in a finance role
- Experience with payroll
- Proficient with SAGE or similar systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and part of a team

The Role:
- £25,000 - £31,000 depending on experience
- Fully office based in Basingstoke
- Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm
