Sheridan Maine is currently partnering with a well-known organisation in Bournemouth to recruit a Temporary Accounts Assistant for an assignment lasting approximately 4–5 months.
This is a great opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional to support a busy team and gain valuable experience within the business.
Your key areas of responsibility will include:
Provide timely and effective financial and accounting support to the organisation
Produce a final settlement of accounts for clients
Liaising to arrangement payments
Process financial transactions and payments within the finance system.
Support the wider finance function with tasks including accounts payable and receivable.
Assist in internal and external audits by preparing documentation and analysis.
Respond to auditor queries and work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
Skills and Experience Required:
Fully or part AAT qualified
Proficiency in financial systems and software
Intermediate Excel skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
