We are pleased to be working with a brilliant creative company in the heart of Sheffield looking for an accounts assistant to join their team ASAP for a 12 month maternity cover.


The contract is due to end May 2026.
£24,000
Fully office based
Sheffield Center

Your new role


The finance assistant role will include the duties below:

  • Code and post supplier invoices, resolving any queries.
  • Assist with credit control and chase payments.
  • Support cash, bank, and credit card reconciliations.
  • Help prepare year-end audit files.
  • Prepare weekly payment runs.
  • Maintain sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Assist with monthly management accounts.

What you'll need to succeed


Ideally, AAT 3 qualified
Experience with Sage & Excel
Strong communication skills
Previous experience in a UK accounts assistant role
