Our client, a forward thinking, growing firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Accounts Manager to join their team in Fareham.

The role will involve being responsible for your own mixed portfolio of clients, managing all aspects of their accounts from start to finish.

Key duties include:-

  • Completion and review of a wide variety of accounts for small and medium sized companies
  • Supporting the Partners with day-to-day duties
  • Managing a mixed portfolio of clients, with t/o’s up to £10 million
  • Attending meetings and taking ownership of clients
  • Working to deadlines to ensure that client needs are met as well as internal budgets
  • Taking a strong ownership of the quality of work produced
  • Using IRIS and transferring to CCH
  • Build productive relationships with team members and colleagues, adopting a collaborative working approach
  • Working to deadlines and within budget

You will also liaise with clients regularly, ensuring all their demands are met and reviewing their records.

You will ideally have at least 4-5 years accounts experience in practice and hold a professional qualification such as ACCA/ACA, although study support may be offered if required. Experience of FRS102 & FRS102A would also be an advantage, as well as a good working knowledge of software such as Xero and Sage, Microsoft Office and Outlook.
