Accounts Manager

TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is recruiting for an Accounts Manager to join a highly reputable, and fantastic quality firm of chartered accountants, based in Ashford. You will be joining a fast growing and successful practice, where you will work in a general practice capacity within the accounts team.

You will be offered exposure to some interesting and complex owner managed business clients, and you will be given lots of autonomy, where you will have direct client contact and have the opportunity to oversee a small team too.

A large proportion of the position will be built around the candidate's experience/ aspirations but as an example you will be responsible for:

• Responsible for your own portfolio of clients, reporting to the Directors/ Partners.
  
• Reviewing of accounts for your clients, including preparation of accounts, consolidations, draft corporation tax returns.
  
• Acting as first point of call for clients.
  
• Supporting clients with management accounts, and fundamental tax planning.
  

• Be ACA/ACCA, probably 4+ years post qualified
  
• Have experience in an independent / mid tier firm where you have experience of owner managed business clients
  
• Be able to review accounts work, ready for final review
  
• Be competent to run meetings with clients
  
• Have a good associated corporation tax/ VAT knowledge
  

• £50,000 - £65,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable
