Accounts Office Administrator

Full training given for the right individual

Full or part time

  • Prepare and process monthly management accounts and reports for various clients, from the client’s original records, onto sage accounts (software);
  • Prepare and process quarterly VAT returns from client’s original records for a variety of clients/businesses on a monthly basis (again on sage accounts);
  • Prepare yearend financial accounts and tax returns for corporate and non-corporate organisations for a variety of clients, from the client’s original books & records. The software used of this is IRIS accounts production;
  • Company secretarial duties, such as preparing and processing company Annual Returns;
  • UK Limited company formations, PAYE & VAT registrations for new business;
  • Communicating with clients via phone and email, and conducting client meetings
  • Other office duties such as ensuring correspondence is dealt with in a speedy manner as well as filed in the appropriate files as expected in such industry.
  • Kind natured/caring, wants to help personality;
  • A problem solver as apposed to someone who stops every time, they hit a problem;
  • Good communicator in speaking and writing, as they need to be able to communicate with clients from all walks of life, and personalities;
  • Able to work alone, as it will be me and them, in the office;
  • Able to take on challenges as apposed to shy away from them;
  • Be able to learn and absorb the information as they progress;

The role is ideally part time, Tuesday to Thursday (9am to 5.30pm), but happy for it to be full time for the right person.
