Accounts Payable/Accounts Assistant

30-32k Hybrid Excellent benefits

Romford 9.00 AM-5.30PM

My client, based in Romford, is seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounts Assistant.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Taking full ownership of the accounts payable sub ledger and function
  • Maintain supplier accounts, ensuring all details are up to date and correct.
  • Process purchase order, non-purchase and inter company invoices (500+ per week)
  • Ensure that the purchase order invoices match the purchase order and goods received note
  • Produce and process fortnightly payment runs
  • Produce aged creditor reports, ensuring all suppliers are paid within standard payment terms and that debit balances are kept to a minimum
  • Reconcile supplier accounts
  • Assist with month end
  • Other ad hoc requirements as assigned by finance manager

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Team Player
