I am partnering with a Property company, who are looking to bring on an Accounts Payable Assistant into their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with 1 to 2 years of experience within an AP role, looking to take on more responsibility and grow with a company.

  • Salary: Up to £26,000
  • Hybrid: ONLY 1 day in the office
  • Location: Stockport

What can you expect?

  • This role is focused around providing financial and administrative duties to support Accounts Payable.
  • Manage invoice processing and payments, resolving issues per policies.
  • Provide advice on Accounts Payable policies and system use.
  • Ensure accurate records, resolving or escalating issues.
  • Reconcile supplier statements with internal records and address discrepancies
  • Adhere to financial controls and support process improvements
  • Adapt to changing priorities and perform additional duties as needed.

What skills and experience can you bring?

  • Good knowledge and understanding of the end-to-end Accounts Payable process.
  • 1 to 2 years experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Understanding of Excel formula's and spreadsheets (Vlookups,Pivot tables and Sumifs).
  • Experience using Navision (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Results focused and an ability to take ownership of tasks.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and deliver to strict deadlines.
