Are you a hard working individual seeking a settled role in Accounts?

Reed Accountancy Oxfordshire are pleased to be working with a West Oxfordshire based business to help source an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on a part time basis. The position offers a salary of up to £28,000 per annum (based on experience), flexible working (one day a week from home), 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays and rising with service), bonus scheme, pension, free onsite parking, newly built office and an opportunity to join a steady, close knit team.

The duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Efficient and accurate processing of invoices and credit notes from domestic and overseas suppliers
  • Calculating additional costs of goods received and apportioning to the value of stock
  • Matching Goods Received Notes and Purchase orders Checking and maintaining outstanding Goods Received Notes on a regular basis
  • Reconciling Supplier Accounts on a monthly basis Preparation of Bi-weekly payment runs, including monitoring proforma invoice payments, using an online banking system
  • Working collaboratively with the rest of the AP team to update and document internal controls and procedures for the payables function
  • Bank postings for payment runs and direct debits

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be an outgoing, dedicated individual with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Good systems exposure and usage is also a key factor, ideally having worked on SAP or similar and you will have good Excel knowledge and usage. You will thrive working in a busy environment and as part of a close knit team.
