My market leading client is currently seeking 2 x Accounts Payable Clerks to join their finance team. The position is based in Daresbury, Warrington, and offers a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate. 

  • Accounts Payable Clerk 
  • Annual Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 
  • Location: Daresbury, Warrington 
  • Job Type: Temporary to Permanent 

My client is looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join the Finance Team. The ideal candidate will process supplier invoices, so the company meets financial obligations. The ideal candidate will also maintain good relationships with suppliers, and other business partners.

Duties: 

  • Processing and verifying invoices and coding them to the correct cost centres.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
  • Handling payments in an organised and timely manner.
  • Maintaining electronic filing system for financial information, records, and documents.
  • Assisting with month-end closing procedures and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Communicating with suppliers and resolving any invoice or payment issues.
  • Preparing analysis of accounts when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
  • Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
