My client, based in Sheffield, is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk initially on a 3-month basis, with the potential to go long-term. The company is a fast-growing business, that is recruiting due to success. Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, you would be required to deal with a high volume of invoices and VAT returns.

My client, based in Sheffield, is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk initially on a 3-month basis, with the potential to go long-term. The company is a fast-growing business, that is recruiting due to success. Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, you would be required to deal with a high volume of invoices and VAT returns.

Description

You may be required but will not be limited to:

  • Process invoices
  • Deal with VAT
  • Set up new suppliers
  • Check bank-statements
  • Identify and resolve invoice queries

Profile

  • Be immediately available or on a 1 week notice period.
  • Have experience with dealing with VAT returns and processing invoices.
  • Be able to get to Sheffield, on-site 5 days a week.
  • Be able to work well within a team.
  • Ideally have experience with Sage, however this is not essential.

Job Offer

  • 3 month contract
  • Salary up to £30,000 DOE
  • Immediate start
  • 8am-5pm working hours however the client can be flexible
  • Potential to extended
  • Car parking on-site
  • 5 days on-site
  • Sheffield location
