Reed Accountancy is delighted to be working with a globally renowned brand, to recruit an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant with Italian language skills.

This role will sit within the Purchase-to-pay department, and will be responsible for processing purchase invoices for payment within agreed supplier terms. Working on an overseas ledger, this role will require the successful candidate to be fluent in Italian and English. This role will also require excellent time management and organisational skills, along with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Responsibilities include:

• Processing invoices for payment
• Preparing payment runs
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Liaising with overseas suppliers to manage and investigate queries
• Managing AP Mailbox
• Ensuring accuracy on tax and VAT postings
• Maintaining adherence to relevant local legislation

This role will suit someone with Accounts Payable experience, and any of the above listed language skills.

This role comes with a very competitive salary of £29,000 per annum, with benefits including hybrid working (only 3 days per week in the office), 34 days annual leave, up to 6% matched pension contribution, private medical cover, enhanced parental leave, paid volunteer days, professional development and flexible benefits.
