You will be working for a growing business in Southampton who are seeking a Purchase Ledger Specialist to join their finance function.
Your new role

  • Download all invoices and process them onto the purchase ledger.
  • Setting up of Purchase Ledger accounts
  • Manage and maintain the accounts payable email inbox.
  • Process costs onto the database
  • Reconcile purchase ledger accounts to monthly supplier statements
  • Coding purchase ledger invoices to match with budgetary requirements
  • Processing payments through the company account, ensuring the correct VAT receipts are provided.
  • Prepare Supplier Payments
  • Process daily BACS payments
  • Processing Staff expenses

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will need full right-to-work in the UK, with prior experience working in a UK finance role.
  • Familiarity with VAT regulations related to the purchase ledger
  • Attention to detail

What you'll get in return

  • You will earn a competitive salary of between £26,000 and £32,000 per annum depending on experience.
