Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor who is available to start immediately and lives local to West London?

JMF Associates are partnered with a corporate organisation who are seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to lead a team and are looking for someone on a temporary to permanent basis.

Duties:

  • Responsible in supervising the purchasing team of the Supply Chain department dealing with daily orders
  • Managing Invoice match exceptions in a structured manner which can easily be explained and monitored
  • Initiate and drive improvement and efficiency in the P2P process.
  • Match and monitor invoices ensuring they are accurate
  • Ensure all queries in the mailbox are being dealt in a timely manner, logging and reporting on statistics, when required.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to purchasing staff, including training, performance management, and development.
  • Ensure all compliance is dealt with accordingly
  • Handle urgent queries and purchasing requirement escalations, including supplier account holds.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors: Build strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering communication and collaboration.
  • Responsible for managing various reports
  • Encouraging a performance driven culture within the team

Skills:

  • 5 years of previous experience in purchasing/AP
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Previous experience leading a team with strong leadership skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Good numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail
