KennedyPearce are working with a quintessentially British brand hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk on a 6 month FTC (Mat cover). This company offers flexible hours and hybrid working. You will be working in an established team of 9. You will be eligable for all benefits including a generous pension. The ideal candidate will be able to start ASAP. There are two vacancies one FTC and one perm.

The Accounts Payable Clerk:

  • Process high volumes of purchase invoices
  • Ensure all invoices are processed accurately and authorised in accordance with agreed limits in a timely manner and adhere to our weekly objectives.
  • Resolving Internal and External Purchase Ledger queries.
  • Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Processing staff company credit cards & expenses monthly and promptly.
  • Monthly review of the aged creditor, investigating, and resolving any outstanding issues.
  • Working closely with the Purchase ledger team to streamline, develop and implement efficient and effective processes and procedures. To ensure all processes and procedures documents are kept update.
  • Processing of bi-weekly payment runs.
  • Assisting with the training of new team members.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.
