Accounts Receivable Assistant - Godalming - part time (Flexible with how you take the hours) - 6 month contract - £13 - £18 per hour

I am currently recruiting for a business in Godalming who require an Accounts Receivable Assistant on a 3-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor customer accounts for non-payment, delayed payment, and other irregularities.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts receivable ledger.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices via email, phone, or other communication methods.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
• Prepare and analyse aging reports to identify trends or issues.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve disputes.
• Assist in month-end closing procedures and support audits as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations

What you will need to be successful:

• 2+ years' experience in a similar role
• Team player
• Available at short notice
