Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Team Lead who is fluent in either German or French to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining strong relationships with our German or French-speaking clients.

All applicants MUST be fluent in French and/or German. 

Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Team Lead: 

• Lead and manage the accounts receivable team, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of invoices and collections.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and ensure timely follow-up on overdue accounts.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates and reduce outstanding receivables.
• Handle escalated collection issues and negotiate payment arrangements with clients.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.
• Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
• Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with German or French-speaking clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable Team Lead: 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field- Ideal, not mandatory. 
• Experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, principles, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
