An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join a dynamic and forward-thinking finance team. This role offers the chance to take ownership of the end-to-end Order to Cash process for a UK business, whilst also providing essential support to the finance department on their journey of continuous improvement and growth.

As an Accounts Receivable Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end Order to Cash process for our UK business. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of AR Specialists, ensuring they complete all processes within set timelines.

Your role will involve managing daily, weekly and monthly reporting for your areas of responsibility, performing monthly reconciliations and identifying ways to improve processes. You will also provide essential support to customers, liaising with them to resolve any escalated queries. This role requires someone who is highly organised, efficient and an excellent communicator.

  • Manage, train and develop a team of AR Specialists
  • Oversee and distribute workload to meet SLAs and KPIs
  • Monitor end-to-end processes, investigate and resolve any issues
  • Manage daily, weekly and monthly reporting for areas of responsibility
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of sales, cash, card and other GLs as relevant to role
  • Identify ways to improve processes
  • Escalate and resolve issues in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Provide support to customers, liaise with them to resolve any escalated queries
  • Collaborate with internal teams

The ideal candidate for this Accounts Receivable Team Leader position will bring at least two years' experience within an accounts role. You should have proven ability in managing and developing a team, demonstrating excellent organisational efficiency. Strong communication skills are essential in this role as you'll be liaising with both internal teams and external customers. Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, would be advantageous along with strong Excel and analytical skills.
