Accounts Receivable Team Leader
Location: Ipswich
Salary: £35,000-£38,000 PER ANNUM

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our global client in Ipswich as an Accounts Receivable Team Leader. We are seeking a dedicated and driven individual to oversee our accounts receivable team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about leading a team and driving efficiency within a dynamic business environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

* Lead and motivate the accounts receivable team, ensuring team KPIs are met and managing overall output.
* Collaborate with department managers to optimise efficiency across the board.
* Develop and manage the Accounts Receivable team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
* Work in tandem with finance team leaders to provide accurate data for business operations.
* Implement and enhance internal controls, standardising processes to best practice.
* Design compliance frameworks and advocate for best practices within the systems environment.
* Ensure comprehensive training is provided within the accounts receivable function and across the business.
* Generate management information to support strategic decision-making.
* Deliver timely reports and schedules to stakeholders.
* Identify and manage potential problem accounts, escalating issues when necessary.
* Analyse working capital and cash flow, providing insights into any departmental issues.
* Spearhead system upgrades and ensure workflow compliance.
* Undertake additional ad-hoc duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* Experience in managing an accounts receivable function is highly desirable.
* Proven ability to develop skills within a team and drive continuous improvement.
* Strategic acumen with experience in creating and maintaining internal control frameworks.
* Strong communication skills with a variety of stakeholders.
* Self-motivated with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
* Positive and focused attitude towards collaborative work.
* Flexibility and a positive approach to work challenges.
* Desirable experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and OCR technology.
* High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
