Cobalt are proud to be partnered with a historic estate agents and property management company who are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team in south west London. This role will be a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a successful team and be part of a growing team.

This position will be working across a residential portfolio consisting of over 900 properties and require excellent attention to detail as well as previous experience in an Accounts Receivable role within a real estate company.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Support month-end processes and reconciliation tasks, ensuring all accounts receivable transactions are properly recorded
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Prepare invoices and financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
  • Respond to inquiries related to Accounts Receivable
  • Accurately record and reconcile incoming payments in a timely manner
  • Assist with statutory audits and tax filings

Requirements

  • Ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to follow and implement processes to support the growth of the team
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Confident using a property management system such as Reapit
