Accounts Semi-Senior/Senior

Our client, an independent forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Accounts Semi-Senior/Senior to join their team in Fareham, Hampshire.

You will be responsible for dealing with a varied portfolio of clients and the role will involve a mix of accounts and tax.

Duties will include:-

• Completion of full statutory financial statements under FRS102, including accounts for audit
• Reporting directly to the Accounts Manager and managing own workloads
• Liaising directly with clients and answering any queries
• Assisting with and completing complex accounts and tax work
• Providing support and relevant training in house to junior members of the team

You will ideally have at least 2-3 years' practice experience and study support is offered for professional qualifications such as ACCA/ACA, although study support may be offered if required.

A good knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, CCH and QuickBooks would be an advantage.
