Accountancy Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts Semi Senior opportunity with a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in Central Manchester.

The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified and/ or commenced their ACA/ ACCA studies, working in general practice with a good foundation in accounts preparation, tax compliance and bookkeeping.

The role will involve working with a diverse client base from an array of industry sectors with a focus on SMEs and OMBs, providing accounts and tax services.

The Role:

Preparation of accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
Management accounts preparation
Preparation of tax computations (personal and corporate)
VAT Returns
Client bookkeeping
Dealing with HMRC/ client queries
Liaising with clients directly
Occasional ad hoc duties

You:

AAT Qualified/ ACA or ACCA Student
Good working knowledge of FRS105 & FRS102
Knowledge of Xero & Quickbooks beneficial
Previous experience of working in practice is essential
