We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountancy to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in Stevenage, they are ranked within the Top 40 Practices. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified ACA/ACCA accountant to step into a senior role within the firm.

The Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining an efficient and accurate accounting function for a diverse client base, delivering a high standard of professionalism and service. You will be responsible for accounts preparation, managing client relationships, and providing training and supervision to junior staff.

Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing accounts for a range of clients across different sectors
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships with both new and existing clients
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and accounting standards
- Managing workloads and meeting deadlines effectively

About you:

- ACA/ACCA qualification
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in practice post qualification
- Strong technical accounting skills and practice experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and manage client relationships
- A proactive, ambitious approach, with a desire to advance their career
- Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
