Accounts Senior

Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a highly progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in Stoke-on-Trent who are seeking an ambitious Accounts Senior to join their team.

Ideal for an ACA or ACCA Qualified (PQ or MAAT also considered) individual working in practice looking for continued professional development, an excellent work/ life balance, and lots of flexibility.

You will gain exposure to an interesting and diverse client base from a broad range of sectors, providing accounts and tax services including regular client liaison.

Excellent remuneration and benefits package, the option of working from home, and tailored progression plan towards becoming Senior Client Manager. Part time also considered.

The Role:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
Corporate tax computations
Management accounts preparation
Review of VAT Returns & bookkeeping
Training clients on accountancy software
Liaising with HMRC
Client meetings
Dealing with client queries
Assisting Junior staff

You:

ACA / ACCA Qualified
PQ or MAAT Qualified also considered
Practice experience is essential
Knowledge of accounting software such as Sage or Xero (ideally)
Strong written and verbal skills
