Impression Recruitment are excited to be assisting our long-standing client, who are looking to recruit for an Accounts Team Leader, based in Catterick Garrison. This is a great opportunity working for a business with a professional approach and an excellent reputation. This role would suit an individual with a strong Accounts background and experience of managing a team, where you will be overseeing an element of the department. Duties as an Accounts Team Leader:
  • Managing accounts
  • Overseeing invoices and approving payments
  • Using various software and company systems
  • Dealing with VAT returns and running payroll
  • Devising and checking monthly management reports
  • Inputting data and relevant information
  • Solving problems, handling queries and liaising with others
  • Processing year end accounts
  • General ad-hoc duties relevant to the post
 
What we are looking for:
  • Holding or working towards relevant Accountancy qualifications (preferred)
  • Experience in Accounts positions, with leadership responsibilities
  • Excellent numeracy and accuracy skills
  • Experience of accountancy software
  • A professional and positive attitude
  • The ability to manage your own workload
  • Strong communication skills on all levels
To be successful as an Accounts Team Leader you will be a proactive individual, with an organised nature and an analytical mindset. In return the successful candidate will receive a salary between to £26k-£30k, plus an excellent company benefit package, working Monday to Friday.
