A fantastic opportunity for an ACT Technician to join a friendly and successful family-owned pharmacy in Gloucester.
Seeking a friendly and organised Accuracy Checking Technician with a passion for providing excellent customer service. Building relationships with your customers is key and you'll play an important part in meeting their unique healthcare needs and providing a supporting service to aid the Pharmacist in the dispensary.
Key Duties
- Carry out final checking of dispensed items whilst adhering to the company's standard
- operating procedures (SOPs).
- Supervise the pharmacy technician(s) and wider dispensary team to ensure everyone is
- carrying out their duties correctly.
- Liaising with other healthcare professionals to assist in the continuity of patient care
- across primary and secondary care.
- Ensure that Patient Medication Records (PMR's) are maintained accurately to ensure
- patient safety whilst complying with current data protection requirements.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of medicines and minor ailments by reading journals,
- product information and training resources.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
- 1 year post ACT qualification
- NVQ Level 3
- Qualified ACT
- Must have the right to work in the UK
